The Observatory

“If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe.” ― Carl Sagan, Cosmos

Welcome to our own little portal to the universe- the observatory!

Weather permitting, the Observatory will be open to our visitors for solar viewing on the following days in May and June:

  • Thursday, May 16th from 11am-3:30pm

  • Sunday, May 19th from 11am-3:30pm

  • Thursday, June 6th from 11am-3:30pm

  • Saturday, June 22nd from 11am-3:30pm

Dates for July and August will be posted here at the end of May.

Interested in seeing the night sky? Weather permitting, the observatory is open after the special guest presentation and planetarium show during Super Stellar Fridays, on the first Friday evening of every month (approximately 9pm). Our friends at New Hampshire Astronomical Society also set up their telescopes out front throughout the evening.
